Some years ago Google had a video upload feature for businesses in what is now called “Google My Business.” Google removed this feature, but now it is back. You can find it in the “Photos Dashboard.”
For businesses, the ability to upload videos to their listing is will be a great marketing feature. We know that video is one of the best mediums to get prospective customers to take action; and this is another way for smart businesses to improve their ROI, since there is no cost involved in uploading the videos.
By showing offer ads, reputation videos and product brands in videos, a business can capture more interest and more customers.
Videos can be up to 30 seconds long and can be found in the “Overview” section of the Google My Business dashboard. Remember, that videos can take a day or so to appear in the Google My Business dashboard, as they are vetted by Google.
Since this is a fairly new feature, now is the time to get your videos up, and make an impact before all your competition does.
